Acuvue 2 has a new, improved thin edge profile, designed to improve the comfort and handling of this lens. Always consult your optician before changing from Acuvue to Acuvue 2. Like Acuvue, Acuvue2 also has a flexible wearing schedule, which gives you the options of either using the lens as a daily two-week lens where you take the lens out each night, clean it and insert it the next morning – or as an overnight one-week lens where you wear the lens constantly (day and night) for a week and then after 7 days replace it with a new one. It is also quite common to wear Acuvue 2 as a monthly disposable lens.
